Celebration Provocation is our annual fundraiser and celebration to bring together the artists, audiences, and supporters of foolsFURY to toast the accomplishments of the year, and get a sneak preview of upcoming projects. Each year we hold a Reading Roulette, a mad gab style of theater making where we pair 6 writers with a team of volunteer actors from the night to act out 2 minute “micro-plays.” It is a fun and brave space for theater enthusiasts to explore and partake in our art making.

WHAT’S A Reading Roulette?
Reading Roulette is a mad gab style of theater making where we’ll pair 6 writers with a team of actors (you!) to act out 2 minute “micro-plays.” This is a fun and brave space for theater enthusiasts to explore and partake in our art making.
Interested in writing a micro-play and being a featured writer?
Submit anecdotes, stories, dreams, and short plays for our annual public participatory celebration. Submissions will be curated by foolsFURY. A handful of texts will be selected. Some may be rehearsed in advance and performed, while others will be randomly selected and read by audience members with only a few moments of practice during our ever-popular and not-yet-patented “Reading Roulette.”
