KRISTINA WONG
Kristina Wong is a performance artist/comedian/writer/elected representative who has made appearances on Comedy Central, FX, TruTV, APM’s Marketplace, PBS, VICE, Huffington Post and CNN; as well as being featured in the New York Times’ Off Color series” Among the numerous immersive theater experiences she’s helped create, Kristina Wong penned the scripts for the Mad Hatter Gin and Tea Party, Wong Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (presented by the US Consulate), “Kristina Wong for Public Office”, created the viral web series like How Not to Pick Up Asian Chicks, and launched the second season of the award winning Radical Cram School. Wong has received Artist in Residencies from the MAcDowell Colony, New York Theater Workshop, San Diego International Airport and Ojai Playwrights Festival.
Center Theatre Group honored her as the 2019 Sherwood Award recipient for her exceptional contribution to the Los Angeles theatre landscape and her work as an innovative and adventurous artist.
