Jesse Annette Koehn (Production Manager)
Jess has been a performing arts administrator in the Bay Area since interning at Cal Shakes in 2015. Currently the Company Manager for Eye Zen Presents and working towards their Masters in Nonprofit Management at Northeastern University, Jess has worked as a producer, production manager, stage manager, casting associate, youth arts educator, stage director, venue manager, and lighting technician. Favorite project credits include black odyssey, Mystery of Irma Vep (Cal Shakes), Prince of Egypt, Around the World in 80 Days (TheatreWorks), Fuente Ovejuna, Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Promiscuous Cities (A.C.T. Joshua Waterstone (Digital Producer, Technical Director & Marketing/Communications)
Joshua is a foolsFURY ensemble member and is Digital Producer/ Marketing on BUILD Forward. Past foolsFURY credits include actor and fight director for Dionysus Was Such A Nice Man, OBS Operator/Design for Celebration Provocation/Library Project and video editing and production work for BUILD From Here: the future of ensemble theatre
Joshua is Digital T.D. and Board Member with the international company The Theatre of Others and works in Marketing and Education with San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. In the Bay Area Joshua has performed with foolsFURY, Ragged Wing Ensemble and San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Directed with PlayGround, Ragged Wing Ensemble and New Century Symphony and was T.D./Digital Producer for Fuse Theatre’s Co-Exist Theatre Festival. Joshua also works as a director, fight choreographer and educator with Foothill College, Cal Shakes, LEAP, San Francisco Youth Theatre, Berkeley Repertory School of Theatre, American Conservatory Theatre and Dragon Theatre. He is an associate member of the Society of Directors and Choreographers a member of the Society of American Fight Directors, an Actor-Combatant and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Directing for Theatre and Film.
Richie Vavrina (OBS Operator and Design)
Richie Vavrina wears many hats. He is active in the Chicago Off-Broadway and Storefront theatre communities. He works extensively as a production manager, scenic, and lighting designer. Aside from that, he manages a farmers market and produces a livestream focused on Improv Photoshop art. He runs his own design firm, QZLX, which specializes in all things design for a variety of live events (i.e. fundraisers, galas, corporate meetings and events, and performing arts). Yiyo (Production Associate)
Guillermo “Yiyo” Ornelas is a theater creator, teaching artist, and arts education advocate. As a first-generation Mexican-American, they understand the impact that an arts education can have, especially to members of vulnerable communities. Most recently, they performed at Brava Theater in Richard Montoya's, Translating Selena. They have worked with Campo Santo, Fuse, and foolsFury to help develop new work. Yiyo has served as the Vice-Chair for the Arts Education Alliance of the Bay Area (AEABA) to ensure that arts education be equitable and accessible to all members of the community. Guillermo holds a B.A from UC Berkeley, double majoring in Sociology and Theater & Performance Studies, having received the Mark Goodson award for ‘Distinguished Artistic Talent.’ Prior to transferring to UC Berkeley, they led a weekly theater workshop for runaway and homeless youth in Redlands, California. They’ve worked with local communities to encourage youth and their families to foster creative modes of expression, through the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts, the Teatro Project, and JumpStart. They currently work as an outreach coordinator and teaching artist with San Francisco Youth Theater.
Susanne McDonald (CrowdCast Moderator)
Susanne McDonald is a film actor, devising theatre artist, and arts advocate based in New York City. In May of 2020, she graduated from the Boston Conservatory with a major in Contemporary Theatre where she focused on devising theatre. Susanne was thrilled to be an intern with foolsFURY in 2020 where she assisted with the first BUILD online convening. Susanne could not be more excited to be working with foolsFURY and BUILD again, except this time as an Art Share devising theatre artist. Although she is incredibly passionate about devising and ensemble theatre, she also has a love for film and television. Sarvin Alidaee (Intern BUILD Forward, panelist Learning About Afghanistan)
Sarvin is pleased to work in marketing and production as an intern with foolsFURY on BUILD Forward: Advocacy, Artistry, Adaptability. Sarvin has worked as a journalist, actor, and theatre maker in New York and overseas.
Chloe Barrs (Intern BUILD Forward)
Chloe went to the International High School of FAIS and has worked with foolsFURY in the past on the crew of Dionysus Was Such A Nice Man by Kate Tarker. Chloe is happy to work with theatre friends on BUILD Forward and excels at critical thinking and writing.
Kendrah Wellman (Intern BUILD Forward)
Kendrah attends The Boston Conservatory at Berklee and is happy to work with foolsFURY on this digital convening. In between classes and rehearsals Kendrah enjoys video editing and social media.
Conner Wentworth (Intern BUILD Forward)
Connor graduated from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where they received a Bachelor of Fine Art in Contemporary Theater with an emphasis in Playwriting.
