due to covid-19, we are reimagining our fury factory festival Next Fury Factory TBD

The FURY Factory is a national hub for ensemble theater work on the West Coast. It features Mainstage Productions—fully crafted works by some of the country’s most innovative, exciting theater makers, Raw Materials—collections of pieces of new works in development, Workshops—in creation techniques led by participating artists and other master teachers, as well as panel discussions and more. We are focused on the topic of Justice and are excited to collaborate and share this work with artists and audiences of all different racial and ethnic backgrounds, socio-economic status, disabilities, countries of origin, religions, gender identities, and beyond.

This past summer, we had plans to produce our biennial FURY Factory. However, due to the pandemic we were unable to host the festival. Instead, we shifted our priorities to produce an online conference. We had over 200 people attend and over 3000 watch the broadcast from all over the world. Our plan next year is to expand our FURY Factory Festival to include an iteration of BUILD and stream our festival online with more featured artists, programming, and workshops.
